The PESCO Common Workspace is a web-based tool designed to support participating Member States in sharing information on PESCO Projects and Project Proposals. Based on the EDA’s Collaborative Database (CODABA), the workspace is a user-friendly software which enables easy contributions from Member States and provides a collaborative platform for information exchange.

Project goals The aim of the Common Workspace is twofold: • It allows PESCO participating Member States to publish their own Projects and Project Proposals, and to express interest in those of other Member States, thus promoting cooperation. • It provides the assessment of Projects/Project Proposals and National Implementation Plans carried out by the PESCO Secretariat.

How PESCO Common Workspace works Launched in April 2018 at https://cws.pesco.europa.eu, the PESCO Common Workspace replicates the CODABA design and interface, though tailored to the PESCO framework. It is therefore built around a Project template with the aim of facilitating both the assessment and, in general, Member States’ input. The Application is restricted to governmental users representing PESCO participating Member States and to governmental authorities representing the PESCO Secretariat. Users can easily search for, read and export data; set alerts to be updated on selected topics; express interest in chosen records and reports; create, modify and delete records relevant to their own Member State, pending on administrative rights. To request access to the PESCO Common Workspace, please contact secretariat@pesco.europa.eu.
