The Pharomatiq Spa, part of the Maslina Resort on the island of Hvar, offers a new take on ‘mindful luxury’. Designed by LA.M Studio and Aalto with spa consultancy from Melany Martinez Thomas, the spa covers 854sqm and comprises five treatment rooms and a specialised sound-healing room, with treatment beds supplied by Malea-Massage.

Facial products and services are provided by Bio Mer by Sireia as well as Davines and Facial Entity, while a ‘garden-to-skin’ concept incorporates locally grown herbs and essential oils by skincare specialist L’Aventure En Primitivance. “Natural, healthy ingredients are literally on our doorstep,” said spa manager Tajana Trtanj.

The spa was equipped by LA.M Studio, Ki Life and STARMEDICO and includes a wet area with a Finnish sauna, an essential oil steam room and showers with LED light therapy. A fitness studio was equipped by NOHrd and Matrix, while private outdoor ‘salas’ are also available for open-air sessions of sound healing, yoga and Thai massage.
