VENUES & REGISTRATION DESK

The European Jazz Conference 2023, including the EJN General Assembly and all Showcases, will take place at the Palais du Pharo (58 Bd Charles Livon, Marseille). The entrance for the Conference delegates at the Palais du Pharo will be only on the right side of the building. The Gala Concert and Fringe programme will take place at the Théâtre La Criée (30 Quai de Rive Neuve). All venues are walking distance between each other and from the main hotels used by the Conference delegates.

Registration desk will be open at the Palais du Pharo, Auditorium lobby:

On Thursday 14 Sept, for EJN members only: 12:00 - 19:30

On Friday 15 Sept: 9:30 - 16:00

On Saturday 16 Sept: 9:30 - 13:00

TRANSPORTATION from/to the airport

Bus Shuttle

From Marseille-Provence airport to the city centre the distance is of around 30 km (approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic). There are bus shuttles 99 times a day, every 10 minutes from 04.10am to 12.30pm between the airport and the city main train station, Marseille Saint-Charles. Price of an adult ticket: 10€. Taxi

7-day service to all aircraft arrivals. For a ticket from Marseille Provence airport to the city centre: approximately 50 €. Reservations: +33 (0) 442881144. For other taxi company names please check the EJN website.

GETTING AROUND Marseille

2 metro lines with 28 stations, 77 bus lines (with a night network) with 1200 stops, 3 tram lines with 34 stations

Metro opening hours: 5am to 12.30pm 7 days a week. From the single ticket (€2), to the 24-hour (€5.20), 72-hour (€10.80) or 10-trip pass (€15), various tickets are available directly at the stations on the terminals provided.
