A British expatriate almost fell for the fraud after receiving an e-mail seemingly carrying an HM Revenue and Customs letterhead and subject ‘Unclaimed Tax Refund Notification.’ But something did not seem quite right with the e-mail, even though at first glance it appeared authentic.
