THE Euro Weekly News is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Fran’s wife from the Costa Blanca Magic Mirror.

Fran and Magic Mirror business partner Steph are friends of the EWN and treated us to a go on their amazing device for our 20th anniversary party back in April 2019.

The Magic Mirror allows people to see themselves in a mirror-like screen which takes their picture and applies overlays including emojis and frames, and is a huge hit at wed - dings, parties and other events in the Costa Blanca and beyond.

“It’s great to bring fun and joy to people and to see them enjoying themselves whenever we go to an event with the Magic Mirror,” Fran told the EWN in 2019. Walking against breast cancer

ANÉMONA MARINA BAIXA is organising a solidarity walk against breast cancer in Tarbena on Sunday May 21. The walk starts from the town square at 10am where there will be breakfast for participants and live traditional Valencian music, before covering Sa Font Santa, Soloja, Ses Vinyes and El Llogaret and back to the starting point. The total distance of the walk is 2.12 kilometres with a gradient of 110 metres and a moderate difficulty, and will take one hour to complete. FIREFIGHTERS were trying to control a massive blaze in Benidorm after it started burning through several plots of land, near the market town.

The major fire which started on Tuesday, May 16, at about 4pm resulted in creating a large plume of smoke, visible from all over the town.
