Coronation tea party

participation items, as members joined the choir to sing old-time music hall favourites. The singalong got the party off to a great start.

The tea party continued with an extensive buffet.

The Vice-Consul from Alicante, Elizabeth Bell MBE, joined the party and cut one of two special Coronation

Celebration cakes, whilst Mary Anderton, former President, cut the other.

A few rounds of Coronation Bingo followed by popular request and saw several members scooping prizes of wine, chocolates and flowers, including the Vice-Consul herself!

She said she would be sharing her prize with colleagues in the office the following day.

THE Giving4Giving charity shop in La Nucia made four donations of €1,000 to local charities in April.

Doggie Angells, the men’s shelter in Gandia, Corazon Express and Busy Bees were the recipients of the vital funds, raising the total amount donated by Giving4Giving to local associations to €272,000 since it opened its doors.
