A Spring Concert in Beniarbeig

Montgó Chorale and Musical Director Aileen Lightfoot would like to welcome you to their Spring Concert on Sunday May 21 at 6pm at the Auditorio (Av. De la Rectoria, Beniarbeig).

The choir performed for the first time in this delightful hall last May and are delighted to be at the venue again. Ample parking is available close to the concert hall.

The concert includes the well­known Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves by Verdi, Gounod´s St Cecilia Mass and the much­loved Cantique de Jean Racine by Fauré. The choir will be accompanied by Kirsty Glen.

Soloists soprano Rosemary Jukic, alto Nadia Kasheva and bass John Edwards also feature in the concert.

before our summer break is with a club favourite, David Thomson. David was last with us in November 2021 and by popular demand is making a return visit on Thursday May 25 with the title ‘Spring into Summer’.

David has taken on many commercial commissions including the Jewel House at the Tower of London, Kensington Palace and St Paul’s Cathedral and is also well known for his wedding floral artistry.

We meet at the Salon de Actos in La Senieta, Moraira. Entrance is €7 for members and €10 for visitors. There is plenty of parking in the large free car park. All welcome.
