Intercambio Pub Quiz in Denia

THE next English/Spanish Pub Quiz is on Friday May 19 at 7pm in the restaurant/bar La Luna Nueva (Calle Joan Fuster, 22­A, Denia).

They form mixed teams of English and Spanish speakers around tables seating about six people. There will be six rounds of questions ­ three in English and three in Spanish ­ on subjects which might include music, famous people, history, entertainment, famous places, local knowledge, etc.

There will be a minimal charge of 50 cents to join in, which will be given back in prizes to the winning teams. As the room is given for free you are only asked to please buy a drink or two at bar prices.

There’s no need to sign up beforehand, just go along, and they usually aim to finish by around 9pm. As usual this event is jointly hosted by the Official Language School of Denia, the International Relations Desk of Denia Council and the U3A.
