The Río Seco and its stunning scenery are of great interest to the group as they have observed five million ­ year ­ old fossilised storm debris in the area. The Torre de la Horadada coastal route is of interest because of the reddish cliffs they take a deeper look at how the climate of the past has left a mark on the rocks. Over 1,000 visitors have been attracted to the area through this initiative and the councillor for the environment said “It has put Pilar de la Horadada on the tourist map.”
