UNFORTUNATELY, the UD Almeria Women’s Football Team, Rojiblancas, could not achieve their goal of staying up in the second division and will compete in lowertier Primera Nacional next season with the clear objective of achieving promotion.
It has been a really tight half-bottom table in which the Rojiblancas have been fighting to their strengths to escape the drop until the penultimate match day. However, their last defeat to Canarias-based direct rivals, Union Viera, sealed their relegation unluckily.
The Rojiblancas will rise again as they feel confident they will be heading back to the second division next term. Both the Club and the coaching staff are now planning for the coming season.
