A POP ­ UP store for sustainable clothing opened its doors on Thursday, May 25, at Zenia Boulevard.

The space will be managed by the Help at Home Association, an organisation in Orihuela Costa that already operates a charity shop and uses the funds raised to assist disadvantaged families in the area.

THE forecast arrival of cruise passengers in Alicante this year beats all the records registered to date.

The figures managed by the Association for Cruise Tourism amount to more than 200,000 passengers on 86 ships. These include stopovers as well as embarkations and disembarkations with Alicante as a home port.

The operations as a home port correspond to the com­ who want to renew their wardrobe while supporting a circular economy and sustainability.

In January, Zenia Boule­ vard managed to collect over 2,000 garments during the Renew Your Wardrobe campaign.

Now, with the help of Help At Home, donated clothing will be given a new life and sold at the Rincon de la Cultura, Alcampo Gallery, three days a month, from 10.00am until 9.00pm.

In May, the store will be open from Thursday, May 25, until Saturday, May 27 at 9.00pm. Dates for June will follow.
