120 Nationalities

SANTA POLA has confirmed a new school in Gran Alacant for 1,120 students will soon be a reality. The new building will be next to the current primary and infant school, Vicenta Ruso.

ELCHE’S door­to­door collection service closes its first year with more than 10,000 alerts and 970,000 kilos of pruning waste.

Hector Diez, the councillor for Cleaning, is encouraging citizens to begin or continue using this free service which includes the collection of pruning waste with the aim of putting an end to pruning debris abandoned along the roads of Camp d’Elx.

The pruning collection service is aimed at private individuals but the councillor has pointed out that it will not include collecting dry trunks or large tree or palm tree trunks.
