New pergola
LAST Thursday the Simply Surviving group enjoyed a lunch at the Carob Bar and Restaurant in Mijas where 39 people attended.
Today, Thursday June 15 is the inauguration of the pergola at 11.30am. This pergola was bought for the town hall to erect in the park to encourage the return of the birds and the money was donated from the sale of the calendars. June 28 is the last event of the season for Simply Thriving Group and is a Red Carpet Posh night out at La Sierra Restaurant at Cerrado del Golf. It is open for everyone and will be a super night out with cava and canapes on the red carpet on arrival, threecourse menu with drinks throughout the meal, entertainment and for just €39 with €4 per person donated to Last Chance Animals, a local charity who do such a lot of work to look after abandoned dogs.
