FROM today, Thursday, June 22 until Sunday, June 25, Parque Maribel Notario in Marbella is set to host an extraordinary event that will transport guests to the heart of Argentina.

After being postponed due to bad weather, the Gaucho Fiesta will finally arrive in the city, bringing a celebration of Argentinian culture and cuisine.
MARBELLA is preparing to welcome some of the top youth football talent from around the world at the ‘Marbella Cup Soccer’ tournament.
The event, which launches on Friday, June 23, will last until Monday, June 26. This prestigious tournament will bring together around 1,700 promising young male and female football stars, who will showcase their skills in matches staged across Marbella’s excellent sports grounds.
Lisandro Vieytes, the city’s councillor for Sports, highlighted the event’s goal of combining tourism, leisure, and the sport itself. “We are delighted to wel come teams from all over Spain to our fivestar city, where they can enjoy this thrilling competition,” he explained during the event launch earlier in the week.
The tournament will kick off with an official reception on Friday at 6pm on San Pedro Alcántara Boulevard, followed by an intense schedule of matches.
Ramon Gomez, from Marbella Sun Sport Events, the tournament’s organiser, proudly announced this year’s recordbreaking registration numbers and highlighted the economic benefits of the tournament, which will bring at least €1 million to Marbella.

Guests will discover the charm of the Gauchos, legendary Argentine cowboys known for their horseriding prowess and eyecatching clothes.
Visitors can also indulge in authentic Argentinian barbecue dishes, prepared by asadores grillers.
Meanwhile, a Tango Show will take the stage by storm with passionate choreography and sensual songs. The Gaucho Festival will also feature incredible Argentinian folk music and dance performances.
Admission to the event is free. The festival will be held in the park on Calle Jacinto Benavente, across from the French school from 7pm each evening.
