Jazz nights

FUENGIROLA’S ‘Noches de Jazz’ jazz festival is well underway after swinging into the month of June with fabulous performances by the Ana Cisneros Trio, the Juanma Romero Jazz Quartet and the Fanny Jazz Band.

The action is far from over though. Today, Thursday June 22, the Four Women Quartet is set to perform an engaging show. The music played will take the audience on a journey through the history of women in jazz.

The cycle also features a performance by the Milton Rodríguez Trio on Thursday, June 29, before a show by the Dúo Fusión group on Thursday, July 6.

The final concert in the series will be by the WilkinsonGómez­Alazubhev Trio on Thursday, July 20. The trio features Moisés P Sánchez, considered one of Spain’s greatest contemporary jazz pianists.

Each of the performances is set to take place in an intimate setting on the rooftop terrace of Fuengirola Town Hall from 9pm. The only exception is the WilkinsonGómez­Alazubhev Trio, who
