Queens of Rock Silver Jubilee time
TWENTY five years of service to the community and over 50s in Spain culminates in a celebratory Silver Jubilee Dinner and Dance being held by Age Concern on Saturday September 16 at Laurels Restaurant in Quesada.
Age Concern promises it will be a spectacular milestone event, and tickets are now available, for just €25 per person, from their centre at Calle Paganini, Urbanisation La Siesta, Torrevieja. Tickets can also be requested by sending a WhatsApp message to +34 966 786 887/+34 711 096 924 or emailing costablanca@ageconcern.org.es.
The tickets include a sumptuous threecourse meal and entertainment will make it event not to be missed.
Formed in March 1998 and registered as a charity from day one, Age Concern is a household name both in Spain and the UK. Age Concern began in a tiny house in Los Balcones, which then moved from a smaller house in the Torretas to the centre in La Siesta, which started life as a derelict warehouse offered by the town hall. This has now become a social, administration and storage centre for all the mobility aids so often desperately needed for people who, either short or long term, want help.
