THE International Festival of Performing Arts, Fresh, which was held from Thursday, July 20 to Sunday, July 30 at Casa Mediterraneo in Alicante, closed its third edition with a 76 per cent global occupancy in its programming, 6 per cent more than in 2022. The family arena, Frescoreta family space, had to put up signs that all seats were taken.
The Ministry of culture and sport, through the Valencian institute of culture, organised the festival, which achieved "great acceptance" from the public, said the Calencian government, in a statement on Friday, August 4.
Fresh exceeded 85 per cent occupancy in eight of the eleven sessions that the festival offered.
The festival hosted eleven dance, circus, flamenco and theatre shows.

During the protest, some 200 people, according to data from the organisation, lined up, forming a human chain, to demand an update on the Coastal regulations. With a few banners from SOS Albufereta, a protest lasting half an hour was held.
