The bagging of the grapes, a technique devised by Manuel Bonmatí more than a hundred years ago, allows the grapes a particular maturation process, which gives them a special colour and flavor, while protecting them from external agents.

THE department of health for Orihuela has opened the period for submitting applications in relation to subsidies that are awarded for carrying out programmes and activities in the field of health and animal protection.

"It is about helping the associations of the municipality so that they can carry out their projects and programmes that have as their objective the promotion of health, patient care, mutual aid and self ­ help activities, facilitate volunteer actions or awareness in the field of animal welfare”, explained the councillor for health, Irene Celdrán.

Martínez showed his support for "a sector that is going through a difficult year, in which farmers are struggling to adapt to climate change to minimise its impact on crops".
