Anna Ellis GOLFERS will be delighted to hear that the Marbella Municipal Golf School has a new European instrument for training and practice.

The councillor for Sports, Lisandro Vieytes, confirmed that: “It is a privilege to have The Robo Golf Pro whose inventor is Scott Nei in our city.

“The new machine can not only observe different types of techniques, but also the specific swing of a certain professional golfer can be introduced and then amateurs can try to replicate it.”

The councillor added: “This improvement is in addition to those made recently, such as the inauguration of the Trackman System which is an advanced method. This method is the most professional and the best valued by golfers.

Pablo Mansilla, president of the Andalucian Golf Federation, said: “With this robot, we will see better results.

“We are very proud to have this exceptional machine which is unique in Europe here. We will continue to work on the school to raise the level so that Marbella will become a great champion in this sport in the future.”
