THE first musical created by Rodgers and Hammerstein Oklahoma will come to the Salón Varietés Theatre in Fuengirola and run from Friday October 20 to Sunday October 29.

A cast of five males and three female leads and an ensemble of approximately 30 (including children) will be chosen. Strong roles for both leads and supporting male and female characters are available.

The directors are seeking teens and adults that are strong singers with acting and dance/movement ability.

Actors will be asked to perform a short cold reading from the script and/or perform a prepared monologue.

Those auditioning for lead roles should prepare 16 ­ 32 bars of a

Classical Musical Theatre (no pop or a Capella) piece for their audition.

Singing numbers from the show is acceptable but please bring accompaniment on a Pen drive or Bluetooth device.

The auditions will take place on Saturday August 27 from 11am2pm for singers and actors and Sunday August 28 from 11am to 2pm for dancers.
