Cancelada Fair

featured artist is local singer and guitar player José Fernández, known as ‘El Pirata’ whilst the flamenco theme will continue at 11.30pm with an appearance by José Ortega, ‘Manzanita’.

Saturday afternoon is the turn of Sótano Sur with the band’s tribute to the golden age of Spanish pop and then at 11.30pm the stage will welcome Manuel Cortés.

Things start earlier of Sunday as at 11am there will be a special appearance by popular Spanish female singer Sonia Priego who has had several hits performing under her stage name of La Húngara and this show could be the highlight of the fair.

The music will continue on Sunday, at 5.30pm, with a concert by the group Compás Flamenco.

Apart from the music, there will be plenty of events and activities to keep the children both happy and entertained during the course of the fair.

Those of ‘a certain age’ will not be forgotten as there is a special lunch for the elderly, the traditional golf tournament at the El Paraíso Golf Club and on Saturday afternoon a free plate of paella.

On Sunday, at 12.30pm, a Mass will be celebrated in honour of the Virgin of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which will feature the choir of the Rocío de Estepona Brotherhood.
