With 400+ super fun events, you can take part in a range of activities, from partying at all of our club nights, to visiting our fairs, to learning your way around campus and all of the incredible cafés, bars and shops we have! It is a great week of meeting new friends, and there is no better way to end it than at our Welcome Ball on 15 Sep! For a full list of events check out our website. Welcome Week is a great chance to get your bearings of the city, but also a time to ask any questions you might have. Here at Edinburgh University Students’ Association we have five Sabbatical Officers, and our job is to represent YOU. I am the Vice President of Activities and Services, so my role varies from working with all of our Societies, to overseeing our events, shops and cafés. We know starting university can be overwhelming and so we are here to help. You’ll see us running around campus all week, so feel free to come and say hi! We’ll be here all year for you, so if you need anything at all then don’t hesitate to contact me by email (VPactivities@eusa.ed.ac.uk), Twitter (@EdUniVPAS) or Facebook (/EdUniVPActivitiesServices) or visit me in the Students’ Association office based at Potterrow. As a student at Edinburgh, I can honestly say that my Welcome Week was a fantastic way to kick-start my university experience! Getting involved with our activities is such a great way to make new friends and discover new hobbies,
