about: design of social housing by single family houses in a small village called caneças, near by lisbon. the ground plot situated on a slope gave me an opportunity to play with the sun and shadow. designing the house with shape in opposite way of the slope´s way, i created more eclipsed areas, which are in portugal very needed and necessary. with the sliding shutters it´s possible to control amount of direct solar radation and by installing special frame with solar tubes on shutters is also possible to absorb radation and use the energy for the house.

about: The main goal was to design an attractive space for a library and entrance hall of train station / TEN-T/ which is planned to be built in underground of this site. Because of the spreading technology possibilities, which influence all the people, the value of real books is sinking. Related to this reality, it is very important to create and design interactive and comfortable places, which attract people to enter and spend their time in a library, not at home with e-book reader. In my proposal I am creating a place to calm down and to get to the world of own consciousness. In the interior are placed some closed areas in different levels, where visitors have possibility to wander, to search, to find and to be carried away by their own cogitations. The shape of the building is following the form of creased paper - as the mirror of nowadays society and its approach to books and culture in general.

about: main goal was to re-design 4 rooms flat to luxury flat for 1 person. it´s designed for musician freelancer, who likes to be free and likes spontaneous life. interconnected living room with kitchen gives him more freedom. purity and simplicity of the designed furniture reflect the owner´s approach to life.

about: this project is situated close to danube river, to the site with wonderful views and big potence to receive a lot of people and become a centre of fashion. this site is well connected to historical city center and also to ship transportion. my main goal was to design a building with a contemporary appearance creating a space for fashion events and gallery - using inner and outer areas, but at the same time respecting existing neighbourhood. the shape of the building reflects two drops - one coming out from the other, what illustrates continual movement of new styles and trends - one is overtaking another one.

site: Bratislava - east quarter /dunajská street/, slovakia
about: this zone is situated on the east side of historical city center of bratislava. it´s known by individual atmosphere generated by blocks of residential buildings, full of private external yards. this part of city provides all the necessary needs of services /shops, food stores, restaurants, schools, administration,.../. although there are a lot of functions, this quarter doesn´t work in social way - social life is gone. in my proposal i am using a big potence of this area to start it up. by creating residential streets with active first floor and reducing traffic is this area becoming a real friendly area for citizens. in addition, with several interventions in backyards is gaining some extra space and possibilities for better social life.

about: caneças is a small village in a suburb of greater lisbon region. it´s known as a poverty area with non functional city center which is created by huge bus station and its parking plot full of old buses. streets are narrow and are not satisfying for nowadays transport. with my proposal i was trying to re-connect old historical build-up areas with new residential areas and create new public space free of traffic, with a “green river” crossing the zone. the programm of new urban quarter contents: single housing, housing for old people, housing for young people, multipurpose hall, school, library, market, senior daily center and new smaller bus station. with interfacing important meeting points by lines, i got a grid of triangles, which are dividing the zone to smaller pieces, where each part has own function.
