This proposal was for my nal B.TECH project. It's a design of an Aquatic Center for swimming related activities. Its serves as sport facility for swimming, a leisure and recreational center

CONCEPT Inspired by the skin of a pine cone, the building's unique triangulated diagrid facade responds to its environment like a living organism, acting as an articulated sunshade that deals with the sunlight, heat load, glare and wind deection, while maintaining views and daylight. The building facade is a type of breathable facade system that was adopted from the South Australian Research Institute [SAHMRI]. The SAHMRI building accommodates up to 675 researchers wet and dry laboratories. The building form is further expressed by its unique triangulated diagrid facade inspired by the skin of a pine cone. The triangulated structure and articulated sunshade allows for singular skin to the building to create a sculptured object. 03
