SPEAKER: JEFFREY MENÉNDEZ MILLHONE Jeff has told us about his hometown, about where he grew up, his daily life as a student in Sacramento, his travels, family and his present life. Nowadays, he lives in a small village, Las Cuerlas (Zaragoza) with part of his family, his oldest children are studying in Belgium, the youngest are being educated at home: home schooling, very usual in The United States.
Here are five facts about Sacramento 1. Sacramento is considered a river town and evolved from the California Gold Rush. 2. Sacramento itself has nearly 50 farmers markets. The Mediterranean-style climate of the city gives farmers the ability to farm high-yield crops. 3. Sacramento has a population of approximately 470,000 residents and is home to nearly 35,000 businesses. 4. Sacramento is considered an environmentally friendly city. 5. Sacramento, also known as “the city of the trees”
