My imagination and sense of architecture began when my grandfather showed his work. The work of him and his team have inspired me to study architecture even to run my own practice in the future. I studied architecture from Vocational High School to Master degree. During my education period, I also took every opportunity outside of the class such as competitions, volunteers, teaching and social activities. After completed my bachelor degree, I worked in some architecture firms in Kendari city, Indonesia. During that time, I learned and gained a lot of experiences in architecture field as junior architect and interior designer. However, after working for some years I decided to study Master of Urban Design at RMIT University in 2017 in Melbourne, Australia. Melbourne has strengthen my understanding of city in terms of urbanisation. I am interested in the creative re-use of spaces which by its very nature reduces the need for the demolition of the existing fabric. Instead, we can reuse of whole spaces for contemporary needs and limit the impact of change on people and culture.

Located in the western region of Shanghai, Taihu region consists several growing Chinese cities around the lake including Wuxi, Suzhou, Changxing, Huzhou and other small cities. Evolving the gray areas of Taihu into a circular metropolis depends on continous negotiation of landuse, density and design intervention while thinking efficient mobility, food and energy production for future population growth.

WUXI Located in the northern part of Taihu Region, Wuxi has one of the biggest urban growth compare with other Taihu lake cities. in Wuxi, industrial landuse takes same urban foot print as residential and agriculture land. The critical point is how to accomodate future growth of population density without further expansion of the city footprint while creating new patterns of landuse and urban living which might solve the suburbanization problem of general Chinese cities.

Core Strategy As Wuxi’s urban footprint already expanded, it is crucial to stop further growth by controling the urban fringes by protected farmland and green wilderness. To cope up with future growth of population density, the industrial zone could be densified with new lanuse intervention rather than occupying new agricultural or rural areas.

Development Phase 2025-2050 Transformation of the landuse could be done with gradual chunk re-development through 5-10 years of phased planning. it will provide enough time to upgrade the existing factories into industrial 4.0 revolution, transforming into more cleaner and environmentally sustainable industries that could be integrated within inner city fabric in the future without the fear of pollution and landuse segregation.

Density Negotiation Negotiation of density provides the opportunity to think Taihu as a collective metropolis in terms of density distribution and population control. Negotiating with other groups helps to achieve certain population goal and density growth through trading of different functional block of density which provides more density mix in individual cities. Rather than having a general densification throughout the whole region, negotiation of density also helps to understand each cities potential density catchment based on their production or other socio-economic factors.

02 MUCH MORE MACAULAY E N T R E P R E N E U R I A L I R R I TAT I O N S Urban Design Studio 4 I Master of Urban Design Studio Leader: Prof. Mark Jacques RMIT University I July 2018 Location : Macaulay, Melbourne, Australia
The State Government of Victoria has purchased and is master planning a 20 hectare city on the former North Melbourne industrial site at Arden which will be home to a new population of 50.000 people and the new Arden Metro Rail Station. However, Melbourne’s recent from with urban renewal at this scale has been guided by a series of formulaic received ideas and repeated cliches that seemly likely to deliver a series of inert development sites at Arden rather than the divers and multivalent situations that we might associate with the cities. This studio project aimed to contest the generic and unquestioned orthodoxies of contemporary precinct making and urban renewal, the tabula rasa, the co-ordinating masterplan and benign public realm as well as seek to replace them with speculative strategies for entrepreneurial, spatial and disaggerated urban growth which RMIT’s own campus expansion is an exemplar. We analysed RMIT’s dissaggerated urban campus and speculate on designing and growing the city based on enabling infrastructure, catalyc agents and civic irritations.

03 COUNTERFACTUAL CITY
Relating to or expressing what has not happened, or is not (yet) the case. Barcelona Travelling Studio I Master of Urban Design Studio Leader: Accosiate Professor Paul Minifie & Enric Ruiz-Geli RMIT University I October 2018 Location : Barcelona, Spain.
An important driver of change in the physical form of the city often follows new inventions. Sewerage, light bulbs, elevators, trains, fridges, cars, reinforced concrete and air conditioners. Spend a moment to imagine what Melbourne would be like (if at all) without one of these inventions. Not all inventions have a direct effect on the physical form of the city. Even inventions as transformative of our lives as phones or computers, have a much less direct effect on the physical city. Cinema and indeed opera invented new building types. Television only rearranged some furniture. Barcelona, more than many other cities, continues to be structured by innovation. In the past, the financial innovations of land adjustments enabled the wholesale replanning of the Cerda grid. The clipped corners of the square blocks were a response to the turning radius of streetcars. It continues with innovations such as subsurface garbage collection / systems or the new 22@ superblock structure. So the first part of this project is about inventing, even if the invention is in a currently implausible forms, technologies that may transform cities. The second part is to show the change that the invention will make to the form of the city.

04 TRANSACTIONAL URBANISM MOBILITY AND LOGISTICS Eco Urban Practices I Master of Urban Design Studio Leader: Ian Nazareth RMIT University I July 2018 Location : Melbourne, Australia
The project aimed to understand the impact and transformation of new economies on the fabric of the city. focussing on how the shift from ‘ownership’ to ‘access’ has fundamentaly co-opted the built environment through architectural and urban intervention. Under the dubious moniker of the ‘sharing economy’, this model of collaborative consumption of which Uber and AirBnb are examples, has commodified and intensified the city - from the spare bedroom to every back seat of every car. These platforms are vital intermediaries and augmented interfaces between ‘users’ and urban environment - how contemporary cities are experienced and valued. As cities the world over consider their networks, laws and regulations, in response to ‘virtual’ platforms; disciplines of architecture and urban design are now compelled to adapt and invent new phisical typologies for temporal and ephemeral infrastructures. Historically, cities have been challenged by other such disruptions industrialisation, health and sanitation, the automobile, post-industrialisation etc. These platforms present an accelerated version of exisiting infrastructure systems of city, an opportunutity to leverage, reassess and speculate about the future of

This program asks who is the master of Master of the plan and what is the source of her power what form is needed for a plan to be binding enforceable and enacted. Moreover, we have chosen two different suburbs for this project comparation, South Yarra and Coburg. South Yarra has been recognised as one of a suburb that has greater liveability index compare to Coburg.
