OUR FUTURE CAREERS As we prepare to leave Elysian Fields High School, we look into the future at what we will do after graduation.

Shown here: Senior students

Let's not forget the skills we learned that are valuable no matter the students' future career paths: leadership, teamwork, setting goals, meeting deadlines, organization. Stella DuBois, Eunice Hubbel, and Linda Williams all aspire to pursue homemaking and home management. Blanche DuBois and Martin Balsam intend to pursue a career in education and teaching. DuBois will major in English education and Balsam will major in sports education. Harold Loman, Biff Loman, Willy Loman, Charley Askew, and Lee. J Cobb will pursue careers in business. They all share aspiration to move to New York City and practice business there.

After displaying exemplar conduct and performance in sports at Elysian Fields High School for the bygone four years, Harold Loman, Biff Loman, Stanley Kowalski, Jack Klugman, Edward Binns and Jack Warden were recruited by various collegiate level football teams across the United States. Some schools included the University of Minnesota, Oregon State University, Duke University, and Georgia State University, among others.

OPINIONS MATTER STUDENTS AT ELYSIAN FIELDS TELL US ABOUT THEIR THOUGHTS ON CONTROVERSIAL TOPICS "One topic that is very important to me is stereotyping. I feel as if others believe I am uneducated and a young lady with no common sense, but they don't understand that I left the past in the past. Judging a book by its cover is not a good way to make friends in school. We all have a past but it doesn't define us."

783 million people do not have access to clean and safe drinking water globally according to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals Report

"One topic that is very important to me is mental health. The stress of life, work and finding family time can cause people to feel like they are losing their mind. I hope that this school can create a society where mental health is treated seriously and others can be there during times of stress and depression." "One topic that is very important to me is justice. There are many people in this school that have been a victim of racism and prejudice due to the color of their skin. Not every different person should be treated like a suspect or victim. I want to be a positive light in this school that people can trust to do what is right."
