When the sun sets, Evansville is the place to be for fun and entertainment. Tropicana Evansville is just one place to stop for a good time. 5. Though winter isn’t always the prettiest, it only takes a little snow on a barn to create this unforgettable moment on Bluff Road east of neighboring Mount Vernon, Indiana. 6. Another perfect sunset spot is from a boat while fishing in the Bluegrass Fish and Wildlife Area in Warrick County, Indiana, just a few miles from Evansville’s East Side. 7. Southwestern Indiana still offers beautiful farmland vistas, like this one just east of Highway 61 North in Warrick County. 8. Storms feature a beauty all their own, including this dramatic scene at the Newburgh Locks and Dam on the Ohio River. 9. There’s something about that skyline — the city of Evansville lit up at night along the river is a sight to behold.
