STATEMENT
‘’Un amor como ese era una enfermedad seria. Una enfermedad de la que nunca terminas de recuperarte’’. -Charles BukowskiY… ¿Que es el arte sino una enfermedad?, una enfermedad que no sana, que te revuelve las entrañas y te consume hasta el más mínimo aliento y fugaz pensamiento, que puede llegar o no, a ser plasmado dependiendo de la experiencia, la experiencia de una mente desequilibrada que busca en su más sincera locura representar algo cuerdo para complacer a una sociedad carente de sentimientos y valores, donde la verdad reside en las apariencias y no en el discurso. Creo rotundamente que en mi corta trayectoria sería un delito proclamarme artista, cuando solo soy una compañera de baile que intenta no pisar mucho sus tacones, aunque a veces no pueda evitar querer hacerlo, pues, sabiendo que voy a morir, prefiero morir sabiendo que voy a ser matada por algo que amo. Yo soy el medio para un fin no muy claro, mi obra es un delito; mi arma la brocha y el crimen: el lienzo, donde se esparcen mis ideas, ideas llenas de colores que vibran y se entrelazan en grandes planos, buscando llenar de vida aquello que hoy se encuentra repleto de decadencia, mi obra es dar voz a aquello que se encontraba olvidado entre escombros y tonos de color gris, es gritarle a la memoria para avivar los sentimientos como se aviva el fuego y la pasión. Una contraposición que puede parecer una paradoja incluso un ataque a la misma razón que se revuelve en mi cabeza para acabar haciendo lo que le viene en gana. Podría decir que yo soy libertad, pero le estaría faltando al respeto puesto que son muchas las piedras que no me dejan expresar con rotundidad aquello que buscas pero nunca encuentras.

What is art if not an illness, an illness that does not heal, that turns your insides inside out and consumes even the smallest breath and fleeting thought, that may or may not be captured depending on the experience, the experience of an unbalanced mind that seeks in its most sincere madness to represent something sane to please a society lacking in feelings and values, where the truth resides in appearances and not in discourse. I firmly believe that in my short career it would be a crime to proclaim myself an artist, when I am only a dance partner who tries not to step too much on her heels, although sometimes I cannot help wanting to do so, because, knowing that I am going to die, I prefer to die knowing that I am going to be killed for something I love. I am the means to a not very clear end, my work is a crime; my weapon the brush and the crime: the canvas, where my ideas are spread, ideas full of colours that vibrate and intertwine in large planes, seeking to fill with life that which today is full of decadence, my work is to give voice to that which was forgotten among rubble and shades of grey, it is to shout at the memory to enliven the feelings as fire and passion are enlivened. A contrast that may seem a paradox, even an attack on reason itself, which is churning around in my head to end up doing whatever it wants. I could say that I am freedom, but I would be disrespecting it, since there are many stones that do not allow me to express categorically that which you seek but never find.

AZULEJOS
Pasear por el casco antiguo de Sevilla sin poder evitar enamorarte de sus calles en las que aún quedan arraigadas miles de historias que se rodean de puro arte, arte que desprenden sus balcones con flores y enredaderas que trepan por las pintorescas paredes de las casas, en cuyo interior podemos encontrar suelos y paredes de azulejos de colores, con numerosos motivos como los que represento en esta serie. Strolling through the old quarter of Seville without being able to avoid falling in love with its streets in which thousands of stories are still rooted and which are surrounded by pure art, art that is given off by its balconies with flowers and creepers that climb the picturesque walls of the houses, inside which we can find floors and walls of coloured tiles, with numerous motifs such as those that I represent in this series.

ABSTRACCIÓN
¿Qué sería el mundo sin la originalidad de Miró?... Sus obras destacaban por su simplicidad y a la vez por su profundo discurso, el cual se ve resguerdado por su técnica y el llamativo uso en ellas de los colores primarios, algo que ha servido rotundamente de referente para esta serie.

What would the world be without Miró’s originality...? His works stand out for their simplicity and at the same time for their profound discourse, which is safeguarded by his technique and the striking use of primary colours in them, something that has served as a reference point for this series.

VINTAGE
Todo se recicla, y esto puede verse en cada uno de los ámbitos de la sociedad, incluso en algunos tan selectos como la moda que está recuperando ese cierto aire de los 2000s basado en los pantalones de campana por las caderas, mezclados con blusas de estampados muy pintorescos que poseen formas y colores como los siguientes patrones de esta serie. Everything is recycled, and this can be seen in every sphere of society, even in some very select ones such as fashion, which is recovering that certain air of the 2000s based on hip bell-bottoms, mixed with blouses in very picturesque prints that have shapes and colours like the following patterns in this series.

PUNTO DE MIRA ROMBOIDE
Con los ojos puestos en la simpleza de un tablero de ajedrez, o en los patrones de un vestido de Chanel aguardan los patrones geométricos de esta serie.
With eyes set on the simplicity of a chessboard, or the patterns of a Chanel dress, the geometric patterns of this series await.

FIGURACIÓN
Con la influencia del trazo grafitero y las atractivas luces de neón se representan dichas figuras esquemáticas que se encuentran danzando sobre un fondo negro que representa el oscuro cielo de noche.
