We have been in the San Tan Valley area for 10 years now and plan on remaining for the all of the rest. My wife and I both were born and raised in Mesa, and are both graduates of Mesa High School, GO JACKRABBITS!! We have three amazing daughters, two are currently in college and our baby is attending High School in the JO Combs district. I initially studied criminal sciences and went to work for the AZ Dept. of Corrections. I eventually realized I was just to kind to be prison guard and would rather help people. Having many of siblings in the health field, I became an EMT, CNA then graduated with a Nursing degree! I found my purpose and love for service to those in distresses and in need for genuine compassion and care. I will never look back. I have great appreciation for this community and its residence, and our family moves forward with great excitement in all that is ahead for us. P.S. We provide multiple styles of Martial Arts that will cater to most needs, with an instructor that is knowledgeable, friendly and fun! With over 30 years of training experience, our goal is to pass on the knowledge, passion and joy Martial Arts can offer! Mr. William “Rhett” Sandoval has been training in martial arts for 30 years. He has earned numerous Black Belts and has competed in state and national tournaments in forms, weapons and sparring. In 1995 he was the Grand Champion of Arizona’s Desert Storm tournament. In his most recent competition; he won a silver and bronze medal at the Grappler’s Quest tournament in Hartford, CT. In 2000, William joined the Army, and served as a Light Infantryman with the 1st Infantry Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom; earning his Combat Action Badge (CAB).

He received an Honorable Discharge in 2006, and earned a B.S. from the University of Hartford in Health Science in 2010. While attending college, he taught martial arts lessons to a wonderful group of families in Windsor, Connecticut. He holds a Team Plus One certification as a 4th Stripe Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Marco Delima and Darin Reisler, and is a Level 7 Muay Thai practitioner under Michael Goldman. Mr. Sandoval also is a Combat Action Badge recipient of the U.S. Army, and received a B.S. in Health Science from the University of Hartford in Connecticut as a Cum Laude. With a population of over 81,000, San Tan Valley did not have a professional martial arts school until the creation of Patriot Martial Arts Academy. The school is located at the vital intersection of Ocotillo and Ironwood, a hub for outbound and inbound traffic easily accessible with many entry and exit points.
