Education City Tram Stops Location:Doha, Qatar Architects: Grimshaw Year: 2019
Toyota Woven City Location:Mt. Fuji,Japan Architects: Heatherwick Studio Year: 2020 Area: 708200m²
Education City Tram Stops is a battery-operated public transit system in Doha, with open-air stops connecting universities, school facilities and student halls.Sensitive to the region’s character, including high temperatures, unshaded journeys between buildings and reliance on personal car use, the system integrates into the fabric of Education City and encourages users to make public transportation part of their daily lives. The open-air design of the tram stops offers entry and exit points from all sides creating intuitive wayfinding for passengers.

The masterplan of the city includes the designations for street usage into three types: for faster vehicles only, for a mix of lower speed, personal mobility and pedestrians, and for a park-like promenade for pedestrians only. These three street types weave together to form an organic grid pattern to help accelerate the testing of autonomy. To move residents through the city, only fully-autonomous, zero-emission vehicles will be allowed on the main thoroughfares. In and throughout Woven City, autonomous Toyota e-Palettes will be used for transportation and deliveries ,as well as for changeable mobile retail.
Paddington Station Phase 1 Redevelopment Location:London, UK Architects: Grimshaw Year: 1999 Area: 86,000 sq m
The scheme restores the 1930s stone facades and provides ample space for eating, drinking and shopping. Enclosed by a lightweight roof of steel and glass, the new climate controlled area gives passengers an optimum view to relax and take in the dramatic Victorian terminus, fulfilling Brunel’s vision for a grand international terminal. Part of the upgrade included renewing the concourse. Its functions were clarified to include stainless steel and glass pods for retail and operations, as well as a series of sleek points for public information formed of flat plasma screen monitors.

Both neighborhood parks and a large central park for recreation, as well as a central plaza for social gatherings, are designed to bring the community together. Toyota believes that encouraging human connection will be an equally important aspect of this experience.
Eden Singapore Location:Singapore Architects: Heatherwick Studio Year: 2020 Area: 33425 ft²
Located in the historic Orchard Road Neighbourhood of Singapore and commissioned by Swire Properties, the 104.5 metre building - the first residential project in Asia by the studio - offers a unique response to its location that entwines nature with city apartment living.
The focus on creating a garden for each apartment is a response to the disconnection between high rise apartments and the lush greenery at street level in Singapore. Responding to Lee Kuan Yew’s original vision of Singapore as a ‘city in a garden’, the design extends the landscape of Singapore upwards through the building with a series of hanging gardens, connecting the interior living space with the outdoors, providing views of Singapore’s green landscape.
CANNED FARM A Reconstruction of A Gas Holder in Shanghai Location: Shanghai, CHINA Area: 210000 sqm Construction Area: 350123 sq.m Building Density: 0.18401905 Ratio of Green Space: 39.5% This is a project that combines urban design, landscape design and architectural renovation. The site is an abandoned gas plant. My idea is to make it an urban agricultural center, providing fresh vegetables for the surrounding residents, as well as accommodating research labs and other functions such as youth education.

Psychrometric charts are complex graphs that can be used to assess the properties of moist air. This can be useful in the design of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems for buildings, and psychrometric char ts often include a zone in the middle that represents the range of conditions that people find comfor table under different circumstances (such as summer and winter).
Wind-Rose
This chart add the influence of air conditioners into calculation. The result tells the constructors and the administrator how to estabilish the air conditioning system and when is the right time to turn it on.

Apple - Marina Bay Sands International Terminal at Waterloo
The garden city ideal of Singapore flows into the interior spaces, with twelve trees placed along the perimeter, providing additional shading and soft shadows through the foliage. Set within leather-topped planters, they also provide comfortable places to sit and enjoy the ambiance of the store and the fantastic views of the marina, especially the famous water show.
Location:Waterloo Architects: British Railways Board And European Passenger Services Year: 1993 Area: 60.000sqm The International Terminal at Waterloo was completed a year ahead of schedule – before the Channel Tunnel that serviced the station was ready. The building was largely pre-fabricated, which accounted for the speed of its construction. "It was made in big steel components and they were bolted together off-site put in a numbered sequence on the roof," said Grimshaw. "And all the secondary components were being made while the main structure was going up."
Location:Singapore Architects: Foster + Partners Year: 2020 Area: 2,575m² Height: 28.50m The site of the Apple Store is quite similar with that of my project. Built in Singapore's Marina Bay alongside the Moshe Safdie-designed Marina Bay Sands hotel, the Apple Store is completely surrounded by water.
The store can also be entered through the Marina Bay Sands shopping mall via a generous curves stone entrance. The contrasting journey from mall to dome offers the customer a dramatic and exhilarating journey and spectacular views across the bay towards the city. Flanked by Avenue displays on either side, a 45-metre x 7.6-metre tunnel space, leads directly to a set of escalators that transports visitors into the heart of the bright, domed space.
"Proof of the pudding was that we were finished a year early," said Grimshaw. The terminal underwent a tumultuous few years of closing and re-opening until 2019, when it reopened to the public on a permanent basis. This movie was produced by Dezeen as part of our high-tech architecture series, and is the last of our video interviews with notable high-tech architects.

Location:Shanghai Architects: Foster + Partners Year: 2010 Area: 426,073m² Height: 180m
The jucnction of the structure contains five parts, which are glass framings, painted glass with slots, shadow gaps, double plate blades with arm support and deflector paddies.
The roof of the structure contains six parts, which are folded soffits, continous plates, a triangulated insulated panel system, a louvred system, fixings and external wind posts.
At the heart of the scheme is a flexible arts and cultural centre, which combines exhibition and events halls with a performance venue, inspired by the open stages of traditional Chinese theatres. The centre is conceived as a platform for international arts and cultural exchange, as well as a place for brand events, product launches and corporate functions. The building is encircled by a moving veil, which adapts to the changing use of the building and reveals the stage on the balcony and views towards Pudong.
Structure
The faceted geometry of the soffit evokes the pitched roofs of St Petersburg and its surfaces recall crystalline patterns seen in ice and snowflakes. Its gilded finish reflects a warm patina to the interior and references the city’s golden domes and spires. Layer
OVERALL DESIGN
The wood basement pedestal provents the flooding water, and the gasbag ensures the main body to float.
Build up walls that surround the outer ring of the pedestal. The side which faces the building group is made of glass.
Make a transformation. Change the pedestal into the anomaly shape as it seems like a drop of water.
Use wooden slats to decorate the surface and to cut the glass into peices, so it's capble of being installed.
Build the stage and the rest zone. The stage can be changed into different uses. There is a lifting system inside the pedestal.
Pile the "wings" above the main body as its roof. It looks like a bunch of cranes chasing one and another.

FORM 1 Under this circumstances, the ring becomes an openair orchestra. The inner circle is designed for quartets, string bands and small choruses. The stairs are divided into two different uses. The wider ones let people rest and appriciate the music, while the narrow ones are for people to go through. As people go up to the second floor, the music turns to be a background sound. People can enjoy the river view while the music goes on. Stage Spectator seats Staying platform Stair Viewing plaform

FORM 2 Under this circumstances, the whole architecture becomes as a theatre. The inner circle is lifted up to draw people's attention. The outside circle is lifted down into the groud, and the passersby can deside how long they are going to listen. The wider stairs and the second floor are both served as the staying platform. As the centre stage is elevated, the sound is more likely to catch the ear. Stage Spectator area Staying platform Stair

FORM 3 Under this circumstances, the function of the building places more emphasis on the communication between people. The inner circle sinks into the ground and becomes an activity space. People are free to walk and talk to each other. A part of the outside circle is used as benches. People can rest and communicate. The stairs return to its original use. Bench Stair Viewing plaform

House of Wrath In <Divine Comedy>, arrogant people tend to disrespect God and be cruel to others. They enjoy abusing their power with a 'fatal passion'. The punishiers have to walk with stones tied up on their back until they regain the power of loving others.
Therefore, a library is established in the 'House of Pride', allowing those people to concentrate on studying to regain humbleness and modesty.

House of Sloth
House of Greed
1
In <Divine Comedy>, people who fail to love God wholeheartedly are considered to be sloth. Both laziness and cowardice are found in them.
2
In 'House of Sloth', people can get released both physically and mentally. Since then can they devote themselves into work with their full heart.
Greed especially referrs to the excessive pursuit of money or power. Saint Thomas Aquinas believes that greed is "the sins that turn back to God, and all the sins that cause corruption. And Dante’s point of view of greed is to overly enthusiastic seek superiority in money or power. As recorded, greedy people can never look into sky or God. They can only crawl forward instead of walking.

House of Gluttony In a narrow sense, 'gluttony' is equivalent to wasting food. Broadly speaking, it refers to 'addiction' to something, such as alcoholism, drug abuse, accumulation of unnecessary items, indulging in gambling and having fun without thinking about making progress.

'House of Gluttony' is a vegetarian restaurant offering organic food. There is a glasshouse where people can actually see plants growing. People are provented from overeating while consuming nutrition needed by human body.

House of Lust Sexual desire refers to excessive and unethical impulsion. The desire for sex and the pursuit of stimulation, are the most extreme crimes of lust. Dante's standard is "to love each other too much", and this will belittle God's love for people. 'House of Lust' is functioned as a souterrain. It embrace all kind of gender with no bias and censure. People are encouraged to love and express their affection to each other. Sex is not a shame, but a gift.

YANAN PARK LANDSCAPE DESIGN The site is located in the center of Shanghai. It was originally divided into four parts by expressway and viaduct, with a green area of 24,000 square meters. The whole site is relatively broken, can only place some sports fitness equipment. This is a group project. There are two members in our group. I was mainly responsible for conceptual design and visual drawings. The concept of the whole design is based on four aspects of Shanghai culture to establish concepts and themes. The first is Broadway, an expression of the variety of entertainment venues that opened in Shanghai's concession at the turn of the last century and brought life to the city. The second is avant-garde art, in response to Shanghai's inclusive cultural policies. The third is local snacks. Many local snack shops have been designed here. The fourth area is bar Street, which integrates the features of Shanghai nightlife.
