ABOUT REGISTRATION... • • • • •

• • •

Registration booth times will be sent out in your delegate email 2 weeks prior to the conference. You must pre-register for pre-conference sessions and workshops. The rest of the sessions are first come first serve. If you didn’t register for a pre-conference or have decided you want to attend a different one, you can change your preference until January 11. Only registered delegates will be able to join in conference sessions and meals. We do offer Thursday night tickets for the event with Ryan McMahon if you have someone who would like to attend. Everyone needs to register themselves. Want to speed up your registration? Come ready with your event barcode to scan and this PIPA Form signed. You should have a printed or electronic copy of your conference registration with your registration barcode. Lost this? Email tam@everactive.org prior to the conference and she can send you a new one, or you can bring it on a smart phone or device.

ABOUT EAS...

ABOUT TIME WELL SPENT... •

• • • •

Friday, January 27, 2017 there is a banquet dinner followed by a dance. This is included with your main conference registration, however if you opt out at time of registration you will not receive a ticket. At this time we are not selling any additional tickets for guests. The majority of delegates do take advantage of the pre-conference who attend the main conference, but it all depends on funding and if a preconference topic sounds interesting to you. Delegates from the education sector make up our biggest percentage of attendees, but this is a great time to network and connect with a lot of people from different sectors to support your work. There are many opportunities to network over meals, during active breaks, or at the cocktail hour! Share your time between events & workshops - Divide and conquer! Catch up with someone from each session afterwards to get the scoop.

· EAS staff will be introduced to delegates at the start of the conference, and will be available to help you with any questions you might have! · Take time to look at the website, draft agenda, conference APP and presenters to make the best use of the schedule.

Conference Hacks • Don’t bring pens. The conference pens at the Delta are awesome I stock up for my stationary drawer every year. • Register for the AMA Youth Run Club Breakfast. The buffet lines are shorter AND you get to hear awesome speakers talk about the benefits of a Youth Run Club. You don’t need to be a Run Club coach yet, you can sign up at the event. • Take advantage of the conference pricing and stay an extra night. You can miss the checkout rush on the last day and spend some time in the spa or maybe hit the slopes 5 minutes up the mountain at Nakiska. • Pay a visit to Kananaskis Outfitters while you’re on site. It is one of my favourite outdoor stores in Alberta - good gear at attractive prices when you buy off-season.

• To get away from the hustle and bustle of the main lodge head over to Woodys for a relaxing environment. • Get outside. It’s winter but that only adds to the beauty. There is a spectacular, paved and shovelled path around the perimeter of the Delta Lodge. It’s just over 1 km and a stunning walk under the presence of Mount Kidd. Also skating is available in majestic village square. • Check out is 11 am on the day of your departure. On Saturday the conference provides a break to pack your bags. • Bring a book or plan to meet somebody for a chat in the main lobby. Beautiful fireplace, piano, (healthy) apple cider, and a great view. • Stick around for door prizes. The end of the conference is reflection, celebration and generosity. Generosity from the many partners and friends that have provided gifts to the conference · Brian Torrance, Director, Ever Active Schools
