CURL SHAPE & SHINE CREAM After receiving steps 1, 2 and 3 of the Texture Release System, this model is being sculpted with the feature product, Texture Release Curl Shape & Shine Cream. Texture Release Curl Shape & Shine Cream features: • Combination of leave-in conditioner plus a setting product • Contains fruit and flower extracts • Hair is easy to create a coil style

1 Taper sides using a 45 degree graduation.

2 Clean nape of neck by taking off 1 inch to 2 inch graduation while maintaining the 45 degree and angle.

3 Check for balance in cut.


4 Apply a manageable amount of Texture Release Curl Shape & Shine Cream to small sections and begin to shingle the curl outward from the scalp.

5 Continue this process strategically around the head, ensuring the natural curls receive the proper amount of product.

6 Process complete.

After receiving steps 1 and 2 of the Texture Release System, this model used the feature product, Texture Release Thermal Protecting Mist. 1 Part hair from ear to ear creating 4 sections in the front.

2 Create 3 vertical sections in the back.

3 Using a 1 inch barrel curling iron, create the base curls from the top of the ear downward. Lightly spray KeraCare Styling Spritz Soft Hold.


4 Pin curl sections at the base of each section.

5 Begin to brush waves gently. Spray with KeraCare Medium Hold Spray.

6 Process complete.

Create a diamond section in the crown using the corner brow as your guide. Create 4 vertical sections starting from behind the ears and the middle back.

Using Curl Shape and Shine Cream and 1 inch popsicle sticks, wrap hair in a winding motion from the middle part of stick to the bottom.

Secure sections with an end paper and bobby pin.

4 Neatly complete all sections. Place client under a warm hooded dryer for 30 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before next step.

5 Gradually unwrap each popsicle stick. All sections should create a zig zag appearance.

6 Process complete.
