90SAFX BUCKLE

The Salewa 90SafX buckle (pat. pending) meets the highest safety standards: up to an angle of 90째 the buckle is completely locked, without any slippage. Once beyond 90째 the buckle can be released with minimal effort thanks to our Easy-Slide-Technology. This prevents accidental loosening of the buckle while retaining ease of use. The light version is a combination of aluminum and stainless steel maximising strength to weight ratio. The basic version is made completely from stainless steel.

EVOBELT

The Salewa Evobelt maintains perfect symmetry on the sit harness: using a hybrid construction combines the flexibility of a floating waist belt with the advantage of a conventional sewn construction (fixed padding position). That means that the Evobelt is adjustable to any waist size allowing the gear loops to always remain on the sides within ergonomic, contortion-free reach. Once the correct position has been set slippage will not occur.

VARIO WEBBING

The rock line and the Via Ferrata Vario harnesses use a special variable width webbing. This allows for the thinnest possible width where buckles are attached in order to save weight. In areas of high pressure the webbing is wide in order to absorb the resulting forces and distribute them evenly over the entire surface. Thus, our harnesses retain unmatched comfort.
