Accident Investigation

For generalist areas such as:

Health and Safety training and instruction is an essential aspect of any organisation’s business strategy; to prevent accidents, to maintain a healthy workforce and to comply with an organisation legal obligation.

It is a legal requirement for employers to investigate accidents.

• Lone working • Violence & Aggression • Manual handling • DSE • COSHH • Noise • Vibration • Employee welfare (Inc. Stress Management) • Working at height • New and expectant mothers • Young persons, work experience We will visit your premises, discuss what you do and how you do it, talk to your staff and then produce detailed risk assessments that reflect how you work.

Health and Safety Policies Review If you employ more than five people, developing and reviewing a health and safety policy is a legal requirement. Health and Safety policies give an overall view of how you manage Health and Safety and who is responsible. These are invaluable for employees and demonstrate your commitment to good Health and Safety practices.

We can supply the following training courses delivered by a NEBOSH qualified trainer: Short workshops (2 hours) to include: • Manual Handling • COSHH • Work at Height and Ladder Training • Accident investigation • Risk assessment • Governor training Courses will be delivered in our bespoke training facility, with free onsite parking. Tea / coffee and biscuits can be added onto the booking at an additional cost if required.

We can provide an impartial and thorough accident investigation service. When investigating an accident, it is not our intention to allocate blame, but to thoroughly examine the direct and indirect causes of the accident with a view to avoiding a recurrence.

Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessment In advance of our visit a questionnaire will be issued to all DSE users. During our visit our consultant will discuss concerns or issues with your staff and will make recommendations to correct or support those issues.
