Mighty Musical Monday with the John T. O’Connor Singing Seniors at the Tennessee Theatre at noon.

JULY 4

Farragut Freedom 1 Mile & 2 Mile Run beginning at Farragut Town Hall at 9 am. Town of Farragut 35th Independence Day Parade at 9:30 am.

Parade beings at Farragut High School and ends at Boring Road.

Festival on the 4th at World’s Fair Park at 5 pm.

Tennessee Smokies vs. Birmingham Barons at Smokies Stadium at 7 pm. Also the 5th - 8th at 7 pm and 9th at 2 pm. Oak Ridge Community Band Independence Day Concert followed by the City Fireworks Show at A.K. Bissell Park (1403 Oak Ridge Turnpike in Oak Ridge) at 7:30 pm. Free admission, bring chairs or blankets.

JULY 7

Fanboy Expo at the Knoxville Convention Center from 12 to 7 pm. Also the 8th from 10 am to 6 pm and 9th from 11 am to 5 pm.

First Friday on Market Square, Gay Street, The Old City, and Downtown North beginning at 5 pm.

Movies Under the Stars Top Gun: Maverick at Ijams Nature Center. Doors open at 7 pm, movie begins at dark.
