These Watch Winders are suitable for virtually any size or style of automatic watch as the “Perpetua” range uses a soft filled cushion on which to mount the watch, while the “Optima” range uses a leather covered clip with screw adjustment and a new generation mechanism for infinite control. On all models the winding mechanism runs virtually silent off mains electricity using the adapter provided or from batteries. These exquisite winders and boxes are the ultimate accessory for owners of prestige watches and they are available to order through any Goldsmiths store.
Why use a Watch Winder? An automatic watch has a mechanism that requires regular motion to keep the inner spring constantly charged, this motion is usually provided as it is worn. When not being worn the watch may operate for only a matter of hours before stopping altogether. The watch will then need to be manually rewound and reset – a particular problem if the watch has many “complications”. Furthermore, watches of this calibre are precision instruments and like all thoroughbreds they actually benefit from exercise and if left unwound for long periods it will lead to excessive wear on the components and subsequent lack of accuracy. Rapport’s designers have carefully considered technical requirements and pioneered mechanical features, but have also put emphasis on their aesthetic appearance to provide desirable, luxurious items which have an elegance to grace any home.

evolution The “evocube” is a single watch winder with an advanced winding mechanism that offers several levels of control. It comes in eight high-gloss colours and is available in any quantity or combination. Multi-boxes Double and quad cases are available into which you can slot individual “evocube” winders in any combination of colours you desire. Captain’s Optima Range This range has been designed to replicate the style of box that sea captains of old would posess. Rapport were inspired to produce a watch winder with a nautical flavour to keep prestige automatic watches as accurate as any ancient mariner would demand. The cabinets are hand finished in highly polished Mahogany and have Brass corner protection details, foldaway handles and lock. The interiors are lined with soft-feel beige velvet, while the watch holders are the leather covered, adjustable clips of the Optima series.

Multi-Watch Cabinets For the serious collector of automatic watches this selection of Optima Watch Winders represents a practical and attractive solution to keeping your watch collection properly maintained. The craftsman built cabinets exude quality from the piano-finish exterior to plated metal fittings and leather clad watch carriers. All our multi-winders have one power source, operating from a mains unit, yet each cup has its own motor and is independently controlled. Mariner’s Chests Built in the style of traditional maritime chests these sturdy cabinets are fitted with metal corner pieces fold-away handles and locking latch. There is subtle internal lighting and two inner drawers to provide storage for further watches and jewellery.
