Through years of hard work, Louisa found her voice as a painter; her unique perspective on the landscape is evident. She saw painting as an expression of her connection to God through nature. It is authentic, powerful and real – every stroke on every canvas is full of conviction and color that came from a weathered heart. The magic of her work comes not from what she painted, but rather how. Artworks Magazine 2009
