With the sun on your face and the last of the hard grind ahead, your prime base layer keeps you comfortable to push on.

Your lunch break gets cut short as the day clouds over and the heavens open up. On goes the Barrier layer to stay dry.

The end of the day draws near and the temperature drops rapidly. A Furnace layer is added to keep warm.

Selected for it’s light weight and incredibly quiet properties, Hydrafuse PacSTEALTH™ will keep you dry and comfortable in the harshest conditions. > This fabric has an exceptional 20,000mm hydrostatic pressure and 15,000gm/m2/24hrs breathability rate. The face fabric of Hydrafuse PacSTEALTH™ is very different to our previous models, it does not have the long nap of brushed tricot. The DWR (durable water repellent) works much better so your jacket will repel water for longer and not saturate as quickly. XTR core soft shell

The Core is designed as a multi purpose garment from charging up ridges, glassing slips to lounging round the hut. The difference between normal soft shells and Hydrafuse Storm CutTM is the internal fleece layer. The high loft fleece keeps the warmth on the inside of the garment, the result is that the Storm Cut is 50% warmer than normal soft shell fabric. The outer of the jacket is the same as our XTR Series, it is a full rain shell. The only difference is that we are unable to seam seal the garment. Being shorter than a traditional bush coat means it packs down smaller. This garment is extremely universal and will soon become your favourite hunting top!

Furnace INSULATION LAYER Warmth management This performance layer must not restrict moisture transfer from your Prime Layer to the atmosphere. You can add more than one layer here to adjust your body temperature to the desired level. Furnace products are suitable to be worn with or without a Barrier Layer, depending on the conditions and use. Furnace products are semi fitted so they will layer comfortably. For this reason we have developed two Prime Layer options, Prime Summer and Prime Winter. Prime Summer rapidly wicks moisture from your skin. hand crafted at the base of the dolomite mountains Last year I went searching for a maker of heavy duty hunting boots suitable for New Zealandâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s rugged conditions. My search took me to a small village at the base of the mighty Dolomite mountain range in Northern Italy. Mario Gasparetto started hand crafting boots in the small Italian village of Cornuda in 1967. GASPO boots are meticulously hand crafted from the finest Italian materials and are designed for the hikers, mountaineers and hunters chasing wild game in the Dolomites. Guido Gasparetto, Marioâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s son, has now taken over the family business. Guido has 30 years experience making boots in Italy and Eastern Europe. Despite Guido formally taking over the running of the business Mario still makes boots today at the age of 70. What impressed me was the passion Guido and Mario have for making quality boots. Guido personally follows the process of the boot from concept, material sourcing, cutting, stitching, lasting to attaching the sole. This is what makes Gaspo boots special, they are handcrafted in a small Italian factory where only the best is good enough. When you see and feel these boots you will understand the difference between Gaspo and some of the larger mass produced boots.
