Emova E.M.O.V.A (European Management Office for Veterinary Associations) is a division of the Italian non-profit Company E.V. Soc. Cons. a r.l. which is specialized in the organization of Veterinary Medicine events and conferences, in public relations and publications. We are an ideal partner of Scientific Associations for the organization and management of their activities. Thanks to our 25 years the experience and to the relationship established with the major Veterinary Associations in Italy and abroad we can guarantee full support for both the organization of events and for the management of Veterinary Associations Secretariats. In 2009 we supported ECVN (European College of Veterinary Neurology) and ESVN (European Society of Veterinary Neurology) in organizing a three-day Symposium in Bologna (Italy) as well as several courses in 2010. In 2009 we supported ECVD (European College of Veterinary Dermatology) in the organization of a Workshop in Dermatopathology that was held in Cremona (Italy). Moreover since 2010 we have been managing the ESVOT (European Society of Veterinary Orthopaedics and Traumatology) Secretariat and in 2010 we fully arranged the WVOC (World Veterinary Orthopaedic Congress) held in Bologna (Italy). The event was a great success and overcame all expectations in terms of the number of delegates present. Besides E.M.O.V.A. there are two other Divisions managed by E.V. Soc. Cons. a r.l.: Edizioni Veterinarie and Eventi Veterinari. Edizioni Veterinarie works as scientific publisher and distributor of scientific publications for members at special prices (on-line). Here is a list of the events organized by E.V. for veterinarians in 2010: 1 World Congress 9 International and National Congresses and Seminars 49 Regional Meetings 55 Practical Courses 48 Specialist Seminars Our company has obtained recognition from the Italian Ministry of Health and from the Lombardy Region for the continuing education program and we have obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification for training in February 2004. Our headquarter is located in Cremona, an ancient Roman and mediaeval town, home of the Italian violinmaking tradition, located between the cities of Milan and Bologna, easily accessible from the airports of Milan, Verona, Bergamo and Parma. Our offices are located in Palazzo Trecchi, an historical building in Cremona’s city centre, with several meeting rooms for a total of up to 800 seats, a main lecture hall with 300 seats, a computer room for interactive classrooms, a room for workshops and wetlabs as well as other facilities for the management of professional services for veterinarians.

Fees for our services • Management of the annual registrations of members (registration of membership fees, on-line registrations, reminders, communications to the members and direct mail, direct website management, contact with the Council members): 15% of the total registration fees • Management of events (courses, congresses, seminars): 15% of the total income • Management of any additional Association services that imply extra costs (such as printing and mailing of flyers, creation of a website, professional management of the website, Council meeting expenses: transfers, accommodation and reimbursement of the members, etc.): 15% of the total costs. The indicated fees can be adjusted according to specific needs.
