JOIN THE MOVEMENT

Beloved I wish above all things that you prosper and BE IN HEALTH, even as your soul (MIND, WILL and emotions) prospers. -3 John 2 And God said, Behold I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food. Genesis 1 :29 (ASV)
We have been challenged by our own spiritual leaders, Bishop Daniel Robertson, Jr, and Apostle Leroy Thompson, Sr. to BE IN HEALTH! We are challenged to consider the wisdom and common sense of our eating habits. OUCH! It steps on everybody's toes. My sisters, YOU are encouraged to take charge of your health and well-being. Your health is connected to what you are eating and how fast you are getting rid of the waste.
Assimilation and elimination are 2 focus areas of insight into your health. 1 . Assimilation- gathering the nutrients from what you eat for use in your body 2. Elimination- getting rid of waste and undigested food
So, what's the movement I'm personally challenging you to have or consider today? A Bowel Movement! Yup, 3 times a day! We need to focus on good elimination from the colon. Ask yourself this question: How often do I have a bowel movement in a week? A. 1 -2 times per week B. Every other day C. Daily D. Three times per day Common sense for consideration: How often does a baby have a bowel movement? They can barely finish the meal sometimes before they poop; it’s in and out. How often do little children have a bowel movement? Typically 30 minutes -2 hours after their meal. So,
what's happening between early childhood to adolescence and adulthood? Tim Morrow, one of the herbalist and nutrition gurus Apostle Thompson has encouraged us to YouTube and listen to, would suggest these are reasons for constipation: Fast Food/Processed foods The Whites- White flour, white bread, white pasta, white rice, white sugar Dehydration from inadequate water intake Lack of exercise So how backed up are you? Where's all that food you're eating going? How much waste can the colon store? The intestine is composed of the small intestine (~20-23 feet) and the large intestine (~5 feet) and the rectum. The small intestine absorbs most of the nutrients from what we eat or drink. The large intestine absorbs water from waste, creating stool. As stool enters the rectum, nerves there create the urge to defecate. About 80% of your immune system is located in your digestive tract.
TESTIMONY OF CHANGE: Here is a fellow church member who has embraced some health changes encouraged by our leaders, and she is willing to share her testimony. Doris Green, 53 years young, female
Q: What was your herbal start up plan? A: Herbs ordered per Tim Morrow's website - commonsenseherbs.com "SuperLax colon cleanser" - relieves bloating, gas and constipation and relieves the digestive system "Weight Control & Maintenance Program" cleanses and rebuilds, provides a boost, balance and energy, cellular detoxification. It’s a natural source of vitamins and minerals.
BOOKS TO READ
'FF II Female Hormone Support”- relieves hot flashes and night sweats, dislodging fibroid tumors, maintains a balance in the hormone levels. "Ultra Relief" – helps control joint discomfort, temporary relief of minor aches, and reduces nerve inflammation.
Q: So how often did you have a bowel movement before starting the SuperLax, and after starting? A: I had a daily movement. After the SuperLax I go after every time I eat, and it doesn't take very long either.
Q: How long did it take to work? A: Within a few days. By a week, I could really feel the difference. I had a constant pain in both of my feet. With the herbs about week and a half later, I noticed my foot pain wasn't there anymore. It hasn't gone completely away, but it's nothing like it used to be. My feeling in my spirit is that my body is truly correcting itself. The herbs made me increase my intake of water. I stopped craving juices and sweets. Also, after we started the herbs, we started juicing at least twice per week.
Q: What's been most encouraging to you about hearing these messages on health? A: That we don't have to be sick. Everything we need truly does come from the ground. I encourage everyone to just try it! I was ready for a change. I was tired of feeling tired and sluggish. Get on a program that works for you. Just go for it! Ladies, I pray something shared will encourage you to take the leap of faith, and embrace the movement - 3 soft, nonstrenuous bowel movements per day. Divinely align ourselves with Gods desire for us to be healthy, free from pain, sickness, and disease. This requires our participation! Accept the challenge to partner with the Great Physician, Jesus Christ. CHANGE takes
revelation, time, and wisdom! Eating to LIVE is a patient journey that requires self-reeducation on your body, health, nutrition and awareness of modern day food handling. Dare to be Obedient!
By CoPastor Elena Robertson
Many Christians like to live in a comfort zone; a place of ease, of familiarity and control. It provides a sense of security where there's no uncertainty of accomplishments or risk of loss or even possibilities of failure. They can count on the same results and never have to suffer through anxiety or worry. It all sounds pretty good, right? Unfortunately, the comfort zone can be quite deceptive. Because, although it presents a picture of peace and tranquility, it also is a place of stagnation and immobility when it comes to the Kingdom of God. There are times we are to step out of our comfort zone in obedience to God's will for our lives. It is at these times we can experience anxiety, stress, and fear, because we are not sure of the outcome. We are quick to analyze the situation at hand. Questions arise, "Can I do this?"; "Where are the resources going to come from?"; "Do I have what I need to get the job done?"; "Will I have the support and backing of others?"; "Can I afford to take this risk?" With each question, a deadbolt lock is affixed on our "comfort zone" door, further entrapping and holding us captive from the place God has predestined us to live freely in. It's been said that "we fear unwanted results as much as we dread missing out on our dreams!" The fear of failure is all too real in our lives. Who wants to look like a fool or appear to be incompetent? No one! And no one wants to suffer financial difficulty or confront physical danger. But, from God's perspective, there's no need to be afraid or be concerned about the outcome of a situation in which He has given instructions. He has control over all things and all things work for the good to
accomplish His plan. In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will ~Ephesians 1:11 (Amplified Bible - AMP) The role we play in this plan is our obedience to His will. And to many, obedience looks like risk and can be undesirable. Ecclesiastes 10:8 says, “When you work in a quarry, stones might fall and crush you! When you chop wood, there is danger with each stroke of your ax!” (NLT). When we fly in a plane, the plane could crash. When we ride in a car, there's a chance of an accident. Everywhere we go, we will encounter situations that present chances of a good or bad outcome. These are the risks of life! But, risk is not necessarily a bad thing, especially when it comes to the plan of God in our lives. The verb form of "risk" means "to take a chance on." Some related words are challenge, confront, brave, and dare. These are all words that sound like faith to me. So, in actuality, when we take a risk on God to obey His command, it is taking a leap of faith. We are daring to take on courage and confidence to do what is necessary to be obedient to God. Many of us know that “without faith it is impossible to please God” according to Hebrews 11:6. We could also translate it this way, “without risk in God it is impossible to be obedient to God.” So, we must “dare to be obedient!”
"God will never ask of you something that He will not give you a chance to succeed in. He is always setting us up for greatness!"
Ananias dared to be obedient to God in that he risked his reputation and life to minister to the newly converted Saul. Through his compliance to the voice of God's instructions, he played a major role in Saul's conversion, who later was renamed Paul and wrote more than half of the New Testament. The residual effect is that Ananias' obedient act set the stage for countless conversions of people's lives all over the world, including you and me. What an impact as a result of his daring obedience! And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. ~Acts 9:10-16 (KJV) Noah built an ark on dry ground to prepare for a flood putting his reputation on the line (Gen. 6). Abraham left his comfort zone when he followed God's instructions to leave his home town (Gen. 12). Putting his life on the line, Moses led the Israelites out of the land of Egypt. All throughout the Bible, you see men and women of God who took risks to obey the Lord. There are several things that we can learn from these encounters with God in helping us to dare to be obedient. The first thing we can learn from these
encounters the saints in the Bible had with God was they heard the voice of God in their ear; therefore, they were able to hearken to His voice. By tuning in to God's voice you will hear infallible instructions for your life that will lead you to your place of victory. God is always speaking, but are we always listening with intent to do? Our intimacy with the Father, enables us to be close enough to hear what He has to say in the matter. Isaiah 30:21 says: And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left. Secondly, they reverently trusted God. They were not concerned about the opinions of man and what man could do to them. But, they feared God more than man, realizing He was the one that was able to keep them from falling. And, by focusing on God, they were able to obey Him despite uncertainty, doubt and fear. Proverbs 29:25 (NLT) says, Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety. The third thing we can glean, is that they all ‘accepted the challenge’. They surrendered their lives putting the mental, physical, and spiritual “work” into what was required to accomplish the end results. And, sometimes that involved leaving what was familiar: family, friends, home. They surrendered to the discipline of waiting on the salvation and promises of God while doing their part in obeying God’s command. They realized that the process could take days, months, and sometimes years before they saw their desires accomplished. Nevertheless, they added ‘good works’ to their faith and proved God faithful in victories after victories!
So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead). ~James 2:17 AMP In conclusion, I would say, “Make the most of every opportunity!” God will never ask of you something that He will not give you a chance to succeed in. He is always setting us up for greatness! He’ll provide the strength, the resources, and the proper connections to fulfill His will. Be very careful, then, how you live –not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. ~Ephesians 5:15-17 NIV What act of obedience is the Lord calling you to take? He understands your fears and uncertainty, but He also knows what you are capable of accomplishing because of what He has placed in you. Take the risk on God! He will not fail you! Dare to be obedient! The challenge is not just in starting, but it's in being consistent and finishing to the end. Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. ~1 Peter 1:13 NIV

THE 5 MOST COMFORTABLE
SHOES YOU NEED FOR SUMMER
L
adies, I can’t promise we will not see any more cold days (because God loves to surprise us), but I can promise that summer will surely come, so we must be ready. I have you covered with the 5 must-have shoes for spring and summer (and some can carry over to the fall). Guess what? Comfort is IN! You don’t have to suffer in your “Hello, how are you doing?” shoes – (I call them that, because that is the only thing you can say before your feet start screaming for you to sit down.) I love comfortable shoes especially during the hot months (well actually, all the time) and I’m sure you do too. Whether you need a shoe that works for school, work, errands, or an evening affair, I have you covered!
1. 2.
Statement sandals are ideal for a grab and go type of day. Running errands, going to a quick lunch, adding a little punch to your outfit – whatever the occasion, statement sandals truly make whatever “statement” you want. They add personality and functionality to any outfit. This style of sandals can range from casual to dressy, flat to high heel, – whatever you prefer.
I love these shoes! Trust me, they may look frumpy in the store, but once you hook them up, they are definitely “fierce”. They are so comfortable and functional. I love wearing flatforms with cuffed jeans or joggers. It creates the perfect elevation and “boost” to any outfit. This style is definitely my favorite right about now. Flatforms range is different heights. You can rock the ½ inch or 4 inches – whatever you prefer! It’s fresh, fun, and of course…comfy!
3. 4.
I told you this season is filled with COMFORT. Slip-ons are known as the sporty “Vans-inspired look”. Designers such as Steve Madden, Sam Edelman, Chanel, and so many more have recreated this style and it is sweeping every store. It’s so practical and stylish. I love grabbing these if I know I will be out all day (Add a padded insert for additional comfort and you will feel like you are walking on marshmallows). Sometimes having your toes out, may not be the best option—if you have a lot going on, therefore this style allows for comfort, style, and toes to be covered.
These shoes took a while for me to get used to, but now I love them! If you are unfamiliar with “mules” – they are slip on shoes that do not have a back. They are very care free and many mules are designed with versatile styles for day and night wear. I think many people style mules wrong, but when it is styled properly, it looks great. Many people struggle with what to wear with them. Mules should be worn when the leg or calf is exposed – meaning with culottes, skirts, cuffed jeans, and dresses!
5.
Oh how I looooove a chunky heel. Give me a chunky heel over a skinny heel any day. I do not know what it is, but chunky heels are so eye-catching to me. It truly adds boldness to any outfit. I love that this is becoming a classic staple in stores and showrooms everywhere. Chunky heels provide more support and aid to a more comfortable experience. I told you this season was all about comfort, you thought I was over-exaggerating. No way! This style looks great with absolutely everything.
