Excela Health Named One of the Healthiest Employers of Western Pennsylvania
For the 11th consecutive year, Excela Health has been recognized among the Healthiest Employers in Western Pennsylvania, and for the seventh year in a row named a Healthiest 100 Workplace in America, in an awards program presented by Healthiest Employer®.
The Healthiest Employer® awards program, powered by Springbuk, was created to honor people-first organizations that prioritize the well-being of their employee population. These companies were recognized because of their commitment to workplace wellness and their exceptional health and benefits offerings. Even with many employers returning to the office or to hybrid schedules, they have had to adapt their workforces to reflect the ever-changing views of the modern American office. Increased flexibility, work-life balance, and mental health resources have proven to be common trends among Healthiest Employers honorees.

GetWell Loop
Slated to launch in early December, as a part of Excela’s commitment to improving patient experi ence, cardiac patients will be offered the GetWell Loop experience.
GetWell Loop is an electronic program that patients will be encouraged to register with prior to their cardiac procedure. It will allow the cardiac team to engage patients across their care journey through automated virtual check-ins and giving the team the ability to send education and information at the right time.
Care teams will be able to reach more patients and proactively intervene before costs and complications escalate, and patients feel like their care team is with them at every step.
Some of the benefits of GetWell Loop include:
n Engage patients before admission and after discharge with automated daily check-ins
n Receive actionable data that provides a real-time window into the patient’s status
n Increase adherence to patient care plans
n Ensure patients understand what to do, when to do it, and why
We look forward to offering this to our patients and improving their experience and outcomes.
