Excela Health has joined several foundations in the Pittsburgh area providing funds and relief aid to those on the front lines and for the many refugees seeking shelter in nearby countries.

The Foundations of Excela Health will be making a donation to Brother’s Brother Foundation on behalf of Excela Health, and 100% of the proceeds will go toward meeting the needs of the Ukrainian people.

“Special Delivery” from the Western PA March of Dimes Young Professional Board The Western PA March of Dimes Young Professional Board recently donated 10 gift bags to Excela Health Family Additions Maternity at Westmoreland Hospital to be distributed to new moms and their families as they welcome their new additions. Pictured are Ashley McAfee, March of Dimes donor development manager, and Wendy Reynolds, director, Excela Health Family Additions Maternity. Gift bag items included diapers and wipes, hand sanitizer, baby bibs, socks, coloring book and crayons, educational literature and a gift card to a local retailer/restaurant. Excela Health extends their thanks and gratitude to the Western PA March of Dimes Young Professional Board for their generous donation!

Latrobe Area Hospital Aid Society Donation The Latrobe Area Hospital Aid Society recently made a $30,000 donation to the Latrobe Area Hospital Charitable Foundation to benefit the Excela Health Surgical Institute at Latrobe Hospital. Since September 9, 2021, the Surgical Institute has accomplished more than 100 surgeries, expanded intensivist coverage and added a second robot. Presently, construction is underway for the addition of Excela Health Medical Group physician offices with a summer 2022 completion date.

Employee Referral Program Excela Health is hiring for a variety of positions. We offer a comprehensive benefit package and compensation package, tuition reimbursement/loan forgiveness opportunities and a variety of other employee friendly perks.
