August is breastfeeding awareness month and here is some important information to help make breastfeeding easier and more accessible. Our providers understand the unique challenges of moms who struggle or are unable to breastfeed. When every latch hurts, you have to be positioned just right and feel like you need four hands to accomplish what some moms do with no hands. When your newest addition develops an allergy to dairy or soy, you quickly realize these ingredients are in EVERYTHING! When the medication you need to be healthy and whole is contraindicated in breastfeeding, it makes life tough. At Excela Health, we have breastfeeding experts who are ready to support you through the amazing and often challenging first leg of your breastfeeding journey. More

Creating a Strong Brand - Part Three

August 25, 2022 | Volume 5 | Issue 17 3

As humans, we tend to crave consistency in most, if not all aspects of our daily life. As marketers, we use this desire for consistency to create a brand. Branding a healthcare organization can include patient experiences, organizational values and the visual brand components that make the brand stand out (logo, colors, language). Consistency in branding contributes to brand recognition and can create trust and loyalty between the brand and its consumers.

This is why it is important to work with the marketing team at Excela Health when starting a new project that may include fliers, video, photography and more. The marketing department protects the brand, and makes sure we are delivering a consistent message to our patients, community members and staff.

5 key elements of a strong, consistent brand: • A Mission Statement • A Logo • A Brand Color Palette • Brand Guidelines • ARepetitionBrand Color Palette

This week we will explore a brand’s color palette! A brand color palette is a set of colors that represents the brand’s personality. These colors can also increase brand recognition by up to 80 percent and create instant recall. For example, when seeing pink and orange together, the association with Dunkin’ Donuts becomes automatic. The color palette should be consistent across all areas of the brand.

When you think of Excela Health you probably think blue and green! You’ll notice our colors can be found in the logo, design elements, signage and more places.
