Volume 3 Issue 20 Employee Engagement Survey Coming Soon An Employee Engagement Survey will be sent to employees starting September 14. This survey helps to measure our improvements over the past eighteen months not only as a system but also for individual teams. Residents will have the opportunity to complete the survey as well. The survey will close on September 27. EHMG Physicians will receive a separate survey on September 14 and will close on October 19. Advanced Practice Providers are asked to please complete both surveys. Employees hired after June 14 will not receive the survey and will instead receive an onboarding survey. Interns, temporary employees, and staff on leave will not receive a survey. If you have additional questions about the survey, ask your manager – or call your HR Employment Specialist.

National Patient Safety Goal Audit Reminder The Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals were developed to assure that national recognized safety standards were developed and implemented across the industry to reduce preventable harm events. To assure compliance at Excela Health and heighten awareness of the importance of these processes, this requires that we conduct proactive internal audits of our processes. The audit for the month of September is patient suicide screenings. This coincides with National Suicide Prevention month. Patient Safety is a “team sport” and requires that we all work together to make this happen. To view the patient suicide screening fact sheet, click here. If you have any questions please reach out to a Quality Analyst or Patient Safety Officer.
