We have a winner!

Welcome Samara Rubin, MD! Dr. Samara Rubin won’t tell you she chose obstetrics and gynecology as her specialty, it chose her. Dr. Rubin joined Excela Health OB/GYN after completing her her OB/GYN residency at Drexel University - Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Rubin completed her undergraduate degree at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She then received her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL. Being there for women while they are creating a family is one of the reasons Dr. Rubin has a passion for her specialty.

Last week in Excela Insight we offered four tickets to the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium to the person who could guess how many mammograms have been performed during the walk-in Wednesday hours from August 14, 2013 through October 9, 2019. We had an overwhelming response and our winner is Heather Bath from the Excela Health Call Center with a guess of 25,000 mammograms. Heather was only 1,607 away from the correct number of 26,607! Thank you to all who played, and watch for another contest coming up soon!
