EEK! A Spider! To celebrate the Halloween season we are having a frightening good time with a contest! On the front and back of this week’s edition, you will notice Insight has been taken over by spiders of all shapes and sizes. Tell us how many you find, and be sure to look closely! On the move! As part of ongoing efforts to enhance patient care, the UPMC Hilman Cancer Center at Arnold Palmer Pavilion is relocating from 220 Bessemer Road in Mt. Pleasant to a new, larger office located on the second floor of Excela Square at Frick. Patient care will begin at the new location on October 28. The new office will offer a more comfortable atmosphere with updated equipment, new furnishings and a larger treatment area, continuing to provide state-of-the-art care.
Welcome Rehab Shabana, MD, FACOG Dr. Rehab Shabana joined Excela Health Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Henry Ford Medical Group in Detroit, Michigan. Dr, Shabana completed her residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Shabana received her doctor of medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit after completing her undergraduate degree as a dual major in biology and Arabic, Armenian, Persian, Turkish and Islamic studies from the University of Michigan. She is board certified from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Shabana enjoys being able to take care of women through every stage of their life and is excited to be a part of the local community.
