As fiscal year 2019 comes to an end soon, so does the need to complete mandatory education. Mandatory education is assigned monthly so that employees do not struggle to complete all the modules at the end of the year. The final two education modules for FGY19 have been assigned. You can access Net Learning on the Intranet, look to the blue box to the left. Once you click on Net Learning there is a link “Click here to login to Net Learning”.

The Employee Referral Program is a great opportunity for current Excela Health employees to earn extra income and contribute to the success of the health system. All positions are eligible for the bonus and all employees, except Human Resources and director level and above, are eligible. The 2019 application for the Gessner Scholarship is now available! The Fund was established in 2005 by the Latrobe Hospital medical staff to honor Dr. Gessner for his 28 years of services to Latrobe Hospital. The scholarship is awarded annually to an Excela Health employee currently enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education for one of the healthcare professions. The application can be found on the Intranet under “My Career Development”, in the blue box to the left and then selecting “scholarships and grants”. The application is due by August 9.

Here Comes the Bride! The Westmoreland Hospitality Shop is prepared for wedding season with bridal and special occasion merchandise! New lustrous pearl and crystal necklaces, bracelets and earrings, all perfect for a summer bride. The shop would like to showcase Excela brides! All you have to do is bring in a framed wedding photo of yourself with your name and phone number on the back of it. The photos will be displayed in the shop windows and display cases. All photos must be picked up on or before June 14.
