New Beat for Cardiology Dr. David Lee, interventional cardiologist, has recently joined the Excela Health Cardiology practice located in Medical Commons One, Greensburg. Dr. Lee finished his internal medicine residency at New York University Medical Center and went on to complete his cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of North Carolina Medical Center (UNCMC) where he served as chief fellow. He then went on to complete a second fellowship in interventional cardiology at UNCMC, specializing in percutaneous coronary interventions and peripheral vascular interventions. Dr. Lee decided to become a physician after volunteering in an emergency department and seeing the compassionate care the physicians provided. His interest in cardiology stemmed from his desire to provide his patients an improved quality of life. When not working, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his wife Danielle, currently a dental student at the University of Pittsburgh, and his six-month old daughter, Siena.
