St George’s Hall LIVERPOOL’S PRIDE
Welcome to St George’s Hall, Liverpool’s landmark wedding venue. One of the finest neo classcial Grade I listed buildings in Europe, the beauty of the hall awaits you. Liverpool Register Office is situated within St George’s Hall, set in the heart of Liverpool’s cultural quarter. The Hall is widely regarded as one of the finest neo-classical buildings in the world and is a Grade I listed building. It was reopened in 2007 by Prince Charles after a £23m refurbishment programme. Built in the early 1800s as a space for music festivals and the Civil and Crown courts, the Hall has always been at the heart of community life in the city. The Register Office has three ceremony rooms at the Hall. The wooden panelled Grand Jury Room can accommodate up to 70 people and the Sefton Room, overlooking St John’s Gardens, up to 50 people. If you would prefer a more intimate ceremony the Rose Room will seat up to 4 guests.
The Concert Room
Feel the heritage and charm of the Concert Room, an opulent chandelier, walls lined with goddess like status and angelic cherubs greet you and your wedding party. Idyllic and romantic, the circular Concert Room provides a beautiful setting for wedding ceremonies for up to 500 guests and for up to 88 for your wedding breakfast.
The Great Hall
A lavish Romanesque interior provided a setting like no other for wedding ceremonies, a wedding breakfast and multi-cultural weddings. Intimately grand, The Great Hall can host wedding ceremonies for up to 800 guests.
The Cockerell Room
Situated in the heart of St George’s Hall, just a stone throw from the registrar’s office, the Cockerell Room provides an elegant and intimate setting for your wedding reception. Fresh and neutrally decorated, the room effortlessly complements any wedding theme.
Liverpool Town Hall premier wedding venue
Liverpool Town Hall is a premier wedding venue in the centre of the city, full of history, elegance and style. It is a wonderful venue for weddings and special occasions. With an extensive list of licensed rooms for your civil marriage or civil partnership ceremony this venue has a room for you. The Main Ballroom can hold 210 guests or the Small Ballroom is available for smaller events. Both rooms can accommodate a dance floor. It is a wonderful venue for weddings and special occasions. Whether it’s the formal ceremonial aspect of your day or your wedding breakfast through to the evening reception, the grand state rooms on the first floor are a beautiful setting for any special occasion. Over the years, this venue has played host to many of the city’s prestigious events including visits by Royalty from home and abroad as well as hosting a homecoming by the Beatles on the front balcony.
